The biggest success of her career came when she played The Lady of The Lake on Spamalot's original Broadway production. In addition to being the only actress to win the Tony Award, but her performance was also well-received by critics. The following year, she joined the ABC program Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider appreciation for her performance.
