Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. Her birth date was June 13, 1962. Her first film appearance was in Bad Boys (1983). Then She joined the Bratpack and starred on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for over twenty years. Her film debut came by appearing in the crime-drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s for which she received a lot of praise. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In the following film after her debut, she appeared in 1985's comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of greatest films for high schools. Though the budget was only $1 million, the film's earnings surpassed the mark of $50 million. At the same time she started appearing in different TV shows like CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. Since April, 1980, the show was an adolescent-oriented show. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other TV shows the actress appeared on. In Little Sister she makes a appearance as a guest. She is also on X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film in which her role is a brief cameo. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her stellar performances among them her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
