Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she coaches athletes. Annie was the first woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She finished second both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter and also an avid CrossFit athlete as well as a popular journalist. Her fame has been built on being the first woman ever to win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. The other accomplishments she has achieved include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie was raised in Reykjavik, Iceland with her siblings and parents. As a child she was a huge fan of sports and exercise. She took part in a variety of school activities and won a number of medals. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit Games in California where she was able to perform well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years of age (as as of 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit training in California in the year 2009. She performed well in initial races and placed at the top of the list out of 70. However she was unable to win any title she ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. In the following year, she participated again in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performance. She became the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won in the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman who has won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she took home a gold. And in 2021, she won with a bronze. Annie is presently a coach and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie was a well-known athlete following her recognition. She has worked on behalf of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others. Her own Youtube page is awash with over 1000 followers, and she has posted videos of her family, travel and other topics along with training and diet plans.
